Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 (Arrive Bangalore)
Arrive Bangalore. Upon arrival at Airport / Railway Station, transfer to Hotel. Afternoon visit Lal Bagh-Botanical Gardens, Vidhana Soudha, Bull Temple, Visveswaraiah Industrial & Technology Museum. Overnight Stay at hotel.
Day 2 (Bangalore -Hassan)
After breakfast, move to Hassan: (160 kms. / approx. 3.5 hrs.). Upon arrival, check into hotel. Later visit Chennakeswara temple at Belur and the Hoyasaleswara Temple at Halebeid. You can watch the finest examples of temple architecture here. Overnight Stay. .
Day 3 (Hassan -Mysore)
In the morning leave Hassan for Mysore (100 kms. / approx. 2.5 hrs.). Enroute visit Sravanabelagola "white lake of Jain hermit" It is 57 ft high. Colossal statue of the hermit Gomateswara built in 985 A.D. Afternoon visit Chamundeswari Temple, Maharajas Palace, and in the evening enjoy light and sound fountains at the Brindavan Gardens. Overnight Stay at hotel.
Day 4 (Mysore-Ooty)
After breakfast depart for Ooty (160 kms. / approx. 4.5hrs.), the Queen of Hill Stations. Visit Botanical Gardens and the scenic Ooty Lake where you may enjoy a boating. Overnight Stay.
Day 5 (Ooty -Kodaikanal)
After breakfast, proceed to Kodaikanal (268 kms. / approx. 7 hrs.), it is a fantastic hill station. Evening at leisure. Overnight Stay.
Day 6 (Kodaikanal)
Visit the Shenbaganur Museum the croakers walk, Telescope House and Kodai Lake. Overnight Stay at hotel.
Day 7 (Kodaikanal- Kanyakumari)
Depart to Kanyakumari (324 kms. /approx. 7.5 hrs.), the southern land end of India, it is a meeting point of the great seas-the Indian ocean, the Arabian sea and the Bay of Bengal. Upon arrival check into hotel.
Day 8 (Kanyakumari -Madurai)
Enjoy the sunrise at Kanyakumari. Take a ferry boat to the famous Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Visit Kanyakumari Mandir, Gandhi Mandapam. Later, depart to Madurai (235 kms. / approx. 4.5 hrs.). check into hotel.
Day 9 (Depart Madurai)
After breakfat move to the famous Madurai Meenakshi Temple, and after temple visit time to shopping Later transfer to Airport / Railway Station for onward journey. Tour concludes.
