Char Dham Yatra
Chardham Yatra is a popular tour package which takes tourists through out a religious and spiritual journey. Chardham Yatra covers destinations like Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. These places are collectively referred to as the Char Dham ( or four pilgrimage centres) of Hinduism. Undertaking a journey to these places will not just wash away one's sins but ensure release from the cycle of birth and death. For one, they are all in the icy Garhwal ranges and regarded as the most sacred of all Himalayan ranges.It is also said that heaven and earth converge in these holy spots, and to be born or die here is a boon only the very fortunate have. The Chardham must be visited from left to right - beginning with Yamunotri, going on to Gangotri, Kedarnath and culminating the journey at Badrinath.This route follows the Hindu tradition of parikrama or clockwise circumambulation.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 (Haridwar - Mussoorie)
Arrival at Haridwar transfer to hotel. Leave for Mussoorie (85 kms / approx. 3hrs). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 (Mussoorie - Janaki Chatti/ Yamunotri)
Depart from Mussoorie to Janaki Chatti/Yamunotri via Kempty Fall (8 kms trekking). Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 (Janaki Chatti/ Yamunotri - Uttarkashi)
Trek from Janaki Chatti to Yamunotri & Back to Hanuman Chatti. Drive to Uttarkashi, and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 (Uttarkashi - Gangotri)
Depart from Uttarkashi to Gangotri. Stay overnight at Lanka / Bhairon Ghati, in a hotel.
Day 5 (Gangotri)
Depart from Bhairon Ghati to Guptkashi/Tilwara/Chadarpuri/Sayalsaur. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 (Gangotri - Gaurikund - Sri Kedarnathji)
Depart to Sri Kedarnathji via Gaurikund. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 (Sri Kedarnathji - Gaurikund - Joshimath/Gopeshwar)
Depart to Joshimath. Overnight stay at hotel
Day 8 (Gopeshwar/Joshimath - Auli- Sri Badrinathji)
Leave for Sri Badrinathji, Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9 (Sri Badrinathji - Srikot/Srinagar - Kaudiyala - Deoprayag)
Depart to Srinagar.
Day 10 (Nand prayag -Srinagar/Deoprayag - Rishikesh - Haridwar)
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 (Depart to Delhi)
