Nainital Tour
Nainital is a small, sweet and charming hill station located in Uttaranchal. This 'Lake district' witnesses tourists splurge, every year, from all over the world. Located at 6,360 ft above sea level, it offers serenity amidst placid lakes. The reflection of the magnificent peaks, in the lakes, during the day and the twinkling lights during the night leave the visitors awestruck. The reflection of the colorful sails of the boats is also an eye-catching sight. The city was named after the Naini Devi temple, which is located at the upper end of the Naini Lake. The temple is devoted to Goddess Naina Devi, who is the manifestation of Goddess Durga and Shakti. 'Naini' means 'eyes'. Some people feel that it is the place where the eye of Sati (spouse of Shiva) fell and because of this, this place was named 'Nainital'.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 (Arrive Delhi - Nainital)
Arrive Delhi Airport / Railway Station. Upon arrival transfer to Vehicle. Proceed to Nainital (325 kms. / approx. 8 hrs.). Upon arrival, transfer to hotel. Overnight Stay.
Day 2 (Nainital)
Enjoy Snow view point by cable car at the foothills of Himalayas. Visit Chidyaghar, and Hanumangarhi temple. Overnight Stay.
Day 3 (Nainital)
After breakfast Morning Proceed for a half day excursion of the lake tour visiting Sattal, Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal. Later enjoy boating at Naini lake and visit Naina Devi temple. Overnight Stay.
Day 4 (Depart Delhi)
Morning return to Delhi. Arrive Delhi in the evening and transfer to airport / railway station for onward journey. Tour Concludes.
